About The Project
For Frontend Users
Discovering electric vehicle (EV) stations has never been easier! Our web application empowers users to locate EV charging stations along their travel routes. Simply enter your starting point and destination using our user-friendly autocomplete fields, then hit the "Find EV Stations" button. Instantly, you'll see a map highlighting the EV stations that align with your route, complete with pins indicating their locations and the distance in kilometers from both your route and your starting point.
Our application can identify routes globally, with a default search radius of 3 kilometers—an option that can be adjusted anytime by the admin. To get started, you'll need to register for an account. After registration, you'll receive a welcome email confirming that your account is under verification. Once approved by an admin, you'll receive a confirmation email, allowing you to log in and start your journey to find EV stations. Plus, you can easily update your profile and utilize our password recovery feature if needed.
For Admin Users
Our admin dashboard provides powerful tools to manage the entire EV station network and user base efficiently:
- EV Station Management: Easily add, edit, or delete EV stations.
- Admins can search for addresses using autocomplete features.
- Automatically retrieving the necessary location details, including latitude and longitude, which can be modified as needed.
- Radius Settings: Control the search radius for locating EV stations along user routes, ensuring that you can adapt the system to meet user needs
- Default Map Pins: Customize the default pin that appears on the map when users land on the EV station search page.
- User Management: Oversee user accounts by adding, editing, approving, or deleting them. Ensure that the community of users remains engaged and verified.
- As an admin, you can search for routes just like regular users to confirm that all functionalities are working smoothly, allowing for timely adjustments and improvements.
